FIRE CALLS

At 2.45 p.m. yesterday the Central and South Dunedin Brigades suppressed a grass fire near the overhead bridge at Caversham, and at 5 p.m. they were called to another grass fire at Kensington. An outbreak in Fisher’s butchery in George street was answered by Uie brigade at 10.36 p.m., but no damage was caused.
