DEATHS FROM BURNS

VICTIMS OF EXPLOSION (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 8. Two of three members of a family who suffered severe burns and shock when a petrol explosion was followed by fire at the rear of a milk bar and confectionery shop at St. Heliers Bay on July 13 have died from their injuries in the Auckland Hospital. They are: Mrs Lorna Irene Caldwell, aged 49, wife of Walter Alexander Caldwell, of Tuhimata street, St. Heliers. Robert James Caldwell, aged 25, single, warehousemen, son of Mr and Mrs Caldwell. All three victims were admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and Mr Caldwell, sen., was discharged about 10 days ago.
