DROWNING CHINESE SHOT TOKIO. Aug. 7. A Vacuum Oil Company official, Mr A. A. Dorrate, testifying at the war crimes trial, said that after the fail of Hankow in 1938 the Japanese herded hundreds of Chinese, kicked them into the Yangtse River, and shot them when their heads bobbed up.
