BAN LIFTED

LOADING OF WOOL FOR SPAIN (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 8. The consignment of wool for Spain which was recently declared “black," will now be loaded. The Auckland Watersiders’ Union has accepted the recommendation of the National Executive of the Federation of Labour and the National Executive of the Watersiders' Union that the ban on the handling of wool for Spain should be lifted.

A statement to this effect was made by Mr H. Barnes, president of the Auckland Watersiders’ Union and also of the National Union, after the monthly stopwork meeting this morning.
