COMPROMISE REACHED
FRENCH WAGE INCREASE (Rec. 1 a.m.) PARIS, July 28. The Government and the trade unions have compromised on a wage increased of 18 per cent. The trade unions wanted 25 per cent., and the Government offered 15 per cent.
