JUNIOR LABOUR PARTY
MEETING AT ST. KILDA The St. Kilda branch of the Junior Labour Party held a successful meeting in the St. Kilda Town Hall, the--accommoda-tion being filled to capacity. Many new members were nominated. Tlie election of officers resulted jas follows:—President, Mr W. A. Fraser; vicepresident, Miss P. Elliott; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. C. Callaghan; committee— Misses J. Schlaadt, D. Kelly, M. Taylor, Messrs E. Clinch, A. Henderson, and R Fraser. . It was decided to hold a social evening in the near future, and arrangements are in hand for holding a table tennis tournament and other indoor sports. At the conclusion of the general meeting, an executive meeting was called to discuss the disposal of many articles which had ocen given to assist' the branch.
