STATE THEATRE
MUSICAL COMEDY “ Where Do We Go from Here,” a delightful musical comedy, heads the new bill which was screened at the State Theatre yesterday, with Fred Mac Murray,. Joan Leslie, and June Haver in the starring roles. Blazing a gay-hearted new path in motion picture entertainment, the story is told of a fellow who wanted only to make love —not history, and relates the adventures of Fred MacMurray on a cross-country girl hunt. Joan Leslie is seen as the girl who was always in love with Mac Murray while he was in love with flirtatious June Haver. To ” Where Do We Go from Here? ” Miss Haver brings all the charm, beauty, zest, and buoyant singing-and-dancing talent responsible for her spectacular rise to stardom. Featured in the outstanding cast are Gene Sheldon, Anthony Quinn, Carlos Ramirez, Alan Mowbray,, and others. Box plans are at the theatre and Begg's.
