Liquor Near Dance Hall Emmett Cornelius Dee, who did not appear, was fined £6 and costs (10s) on a charge of having liquor in the vicinity of a dance hall while a dance was in progress.—Sergeant A E. Stark, who prosecuted, explained that the defendant had been fined previously for a similar offence. Traffic Breaches Charles Ernest Tweedie, for driving a car without due care and attention, was fined 40s and costs (10s). Foi parking too near a pedestrian crossing, Clayton Albert Arthur was fined 20s and’ costs (10s). A fine of £2 and costs (10s) was imposed on Charles Lingford Horne for failing to give the right of way at an InterSe wnham Gray Bettencourt Chalmers for ridina a motor cycle through Green Island at a speed exceeding 30 miles an houi, was fined £2 10s and costs (10s).—On a similar chcir§6, James Samuel Kennedy was fined £2 and costs (10s) and on a charge of having no warrant of fitness he was ordered to pay costs (10s). John Campbell was fined las and costs (12s) for having no warrant of fitness for his motor car, and 10s and costs (10s) on a similar charge respecting a trailer -Reginald Hugh Ralston was fined 10s and costs (12s) and 5s and costs (10s) on slmilai informations.—On charges of having no warrant, of fitness, John Samuel Torrance was fined 10s and costs (10s), William Marshall 10s and costs (10s), and Simon Charles Kenny 20s and .costs (10s) For failing to produce a driver s licence, John Robert Aburn was fined 5s and costs (10s) and David Douglas McDonald was fined 40s and costs (10s).
