The Central Brigade attended to an outbreak of fire in a wooden house in New street, St. Kildn, at 10.21 a.m yesterday. There was slight damage. A. 11.37 an automatic false alarm from Messrs Irvine and Stevenson’s, in Filleul street, was answered, and at 3.12 p.m. the brigade was called to the Atlas Box Factory at Kensington, where there was a smull fire in a sawdust chute. A gorse fire in Isadore road was suppressed at 3.33 p.m.
