metropolitan board TRANSFER OF ROUNDS A meeting of the Dunedin Metropolitan Milk Board was held last night, and was attended by the chairman (Mr W. B. Taverner), Dr G. O. L. Dempster, Messrs J. F. McCartney, H. Williamson, M. Syron, R. F. Barr and J. H. Hinton. The Director-general of Agriculture (Mr E. J. Fawcett) notified the appointment of Mr Michael Syron as the department’s representative on the Milk Board. . „ The following proposed transfers of milk rounds were noted: —A. G. Galli to Stewart Bros.; J. Edmonds to R. Walker; E. E. V. Jury to C. V. Jury; R Souquet to R. T. Greenway;. J. Houlahan to R. T Greenway. Notification was received from Messrs Collier, Taylor and Salmond of the proposed sale of a dairy farm and milk rounds Nos. 8 and 13.—Noted. A letter was received from the Palmerston North Milk Board, protesting against the setting up of milk treatment corporations.—lt was decided to take no action in the matter.
