A GREAT GAME

Momona thoroughly deserved its narrow victory over Training College in a game which produced some of the best hockey seen in the competition this season. The first half was keenly contested with Momona leading by one goal scored just* before half-time. Immediately after a stoppage for an injury to the Momona centre-forward, W. Middleton scored a second goal. In the second half College rallied and, brought the scores to 2—all. An exciting finish saw some excellent team work on both sides. The scorers for Momona were W. Middleton (2), J. McLaren and D. Stinson. For College B. Sparrow, V Robinson and G. Collie scored. The umpires were Messrs T. Mulholland and W. McLeod.
