ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS

“ Old Times," Milton.—The old flour mill in Milton which, is now the property of the Bruce Woollen Company, was established by Mr Peter McGill, and was famous for the'quality of its oatmeal. The mill was later acquired by Messrs Fleming and Co., of Gore, and closed down, but about 1922 the premises were purchased bv the Bruce Woollen Company. Mr Murrav, of the latter company, or some other old resident of the town, can probably supply you with some of the early history of the mill.
