SERIES OF UNIT RECORDS A UNIFIED COMPILATION (PA ) WELLINGTON, July 5. Forming a unique gathering of the 2nd N Z E.F., some 60 high-ranking army officers met in Wellington to-day at the instance of the editor-in-chief of the New Zealand war histories, Major-general Klppenberger. to consider proposals for the production of a uniform series of army unit histories. Proposals were placed before the meeting by Major-general Kippenberger and other speakers included Major-general W G. Stevens, the last commander of the force, and the Undersecretary of Internal Affairs, Mr J. W. Heenan. , ~ . , A detailed discussion tollowed. Approval was given to proposals which will result in the publication of a unified series of histories recording the activities of army units. ■ Conveners of unit committees were appointed. These will discuss the proposals and forward their decisions to the editor-in-chief. Representatives of the Army Nursing Service and the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps were among those at the meeting.
