ALLEGED COLLABORATION

FOUR FRENCH ADMIRALS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL PARIS, June 13. The High Court committed for trial four French admirals charged with collaboration with the enemy and alleged implication in scuttling the French Fleet at Toulon in November. 1942. They are: Admirals Abrial (former Vichy Minister of Marine), Marquis (former Maritime Prefect in Toulon), de la Borde (former Naval Commander-in-Chief), and Auphan (Vichy Minister of Marine before Abrial). Auphan, who is still abroad, will be tried in absentia.
