OAMARU DRAMA CLUB

The president of the Oamaru Drama Club (Mr M. F. Woodward) and Mrs Woodward gave a dance to members of the club on Monday night. The patrons of the club. Mrs A. H. Nordmeyer and the Mayor (Mr J. C. Kirkness) were present, and also Mr A. H. Nordmeyer. Novelty dances were won by Mr and Mrs S. Hook and Mr H. Coker and Mrs R. Elder. Mr G. Drummond expressed the club’s appreciation of Mr and Mrs Woodward’s generous gesture, and at the close of the evening the host and hostess were accorded musical honours.
