GOLDEN GLOW SUCCESSFUL (P.A.) NELSON, June 10. The second day of the Nelson trots was held in overcast weather, and rain developed later in the day. The attendance was large. The track was slow. The totalisator handled £26,594, compared with £8305 in 1941. For the meeting the total was £56,902, compared with £16,273 five years ago. In the'second division of the Waimea Handicap, the placings were reversed when a protest by the connections of Travis Boy against interference by Nyallo Scott for boring was sustained. The driver of Nyallo Scott, L. F. Beckett, was not penalised, the stipendiary stewai'ds considering he did all ne could to prevent interference. G. Withers, the driver of Razzle in the.
