SHIPOWNERS’ OFFER
REJECTED BY THE UNION WASHINGTON, (Rec. 0.15 a.m.) June 10. The National Maritime Union rejected as impracticable the offer by the eastern ship owners to give seamen a day off in port for every 14 days at sea.
