A BOMB EXPLOSION

TRAGEDY AT BATHURST FIVE PEOPLE KILLED SYDNEY, June 3. Three Australian soldiers and two Italian prisoners of war were killed in a bomb explosion at Bathurst military camp to-day. A third Italian prisoner of war was so critically injured that he is not expected to live. The men were cutting wood at the camp when a mortar fragmentation bomb buried under some wood and earth exploded.
