MANCHESTER UNITY
N.G. Sis. Willetts presided at the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Star of the North Lodge on Monday night. P.G. Sis, H. Whitham was appointed lodge pianist. E.S. Sis. Moir reported on a visit to the Loyal Oamaru Lodge. Members were reminded of the bowls match against the Past Grands’ Lodge on Tuesday. It was decided to hold " pit evening ” and ritual practice at the next meeting. PG. 3ro. G. Boaden presided at the monthly meeting of the Oamaru Past Grands' Lodge recently. P.G. Bro. Kay reported that the half-yearly meeting and installation of officers of the Loyal Oamaru Juvenile Lodge would be held on May 30. The Loyal Oamaru Lodge wrote granting the use of the Indoor bowls. After the meeting the challenge game of bowls between the lodge and the Loval Star of the North Lodge was played, Loyal Star of the North Lodge winning. »
