West Taieri.—Mrs Free presided. The election of officers resulted President, Mrs .Free; vice-presidents, Mrs A. Reid and Mrs W. Brookes; secretary, Mrs Dodd. The previous committee was re-elected. Mrs A, Grant entertained the members by reading extracts from E’rancis Gay’s “ Book of Friends."

Duntroon.—Mrs R. A. Haugh presided. The roll call was, "A Scotch joke." Mrs Peterson reported on the last executive meeting. A donation of £5 was granted to the services’ queen. Miss I. Francis and Mrs G. Lister offered to collect for the Blind Institute at the stock sale. The competitions resulted: —Worked supper cloth; Miss G. Matheson 1, Miss N. Matheson 2, Miss I. Francis 3. Flower ; Mrs Muirden 1, Mrs G. G. Sutherland 2, Miss N. Matheson 3. Vase of roses: Mrs G. G. Sutherland 1, Mrs A. Gibson 2, Mrs Muirden 3. Ginger buns: Miss H. Tallentire 1, Mrs Muirden 2, Mrs E. Haugh and Miss N. Matheson (equal) 3. The hostesses were Mesdames P. Taylor and Muirden.

Cromwell.—Mrs Radford presided. The following office-bearers were elected:— President, Mrs Radford; secretary, Mis Mooney; vice-president, Mrs Brown; junior vice-president, Mrs Scott; Advisory Committee—Mrs F. Webb, Mrs T. Smith and Mrs McMillan; press correspondent., Mrs Scott. The hostesses were Mesdames Mooney, McMillan and Scott. Middlemarch. The fifteenth annual meeting was presided over by Mrs A. Atkinson, vice-president. The election of officers resulted;—President, Mrs A. Atkinson; vice-president, Mrs W. Brenssell; secretary, Miss M. Allan; assistant secretary, Miss M. Macaulay; treasurer, Mrs P. Howell; executive member, Mrs G. Renwick; committee—Mesdames Ayson, Boyles, D. Matheson, A. Matheson, Murphy McKinnon, A. McDonald, C. Paterson, M. Robertson and B. Thompson. Interesting talks of their experiences overseas were given by the following returned servicemen:—Messrs W. Lucas, R, Innes, D. Innes. R. James, J. Hall and W. Lucas, jun. The monthly competition, one gladioli spike, resulted:—Mrs C Paterson 1. Mrs G. Renwick 2. The hostessffe were Mesdames W. Brenssell, Binnie and Harris
