argentine socialists eliminated from congress (Rec 1 a.m.) NEW YORK, Apl. 1. The final returns in the Argentine elections shows that established parties have been heavily defeated, re ports the Buenos Aires correspondent of the Herald-Tribune. The Socialists, for the first time in 34 years, have been eliminated from the Congress. The Communists also failed to win a seat. The Conservatives won only three seats. In the lower House, the Radicals, whose middle road party was once the most powerful in Argentina, won 44 seats, and Colonel Peron’s supporters won 109 seats and all the 30 Senate seats except two. which are still in doubt.
