FLYING BOAT CRASHES

SEVEN PEOPLE KILLED (Rec. 11 p.m.) SINGAPORE. Mar. 29. A R.A.F. Sunderland flying boat crashed near Singapore when taking off for Hongkong. Seven persons were killed. and six are missing, believed killed. Eight were sent to hospital. There were civilians and Service personnel on board. Two of those killed, all of the missing and three of those in hospital were passengers. Five of the crew of ten were killed and five are in hospital.
