ROSE TO STAND TRIAL
DEFENCE RESERVED (Rec, 9 p.m) MONTREAL, Mar. 27. Fred Rose, the Progressive M.P., was committed for trial, and his bail was cancelled. The defence counsel, Mr Joseph Cohen, K.C., did not offer evidence when Rose appeared in court for a voluntary statement. Mr Cohen said: “We will reserve our defence for the trial.”
