PASSENGERS AND MAILS FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY (PA) WELLINGTON, Mar. 29. The mail carried by Union Airways of New Zealand jumped from 23,7621 b in January to 36,0431 b last month. The low figure for January is attributed to the usual falling off in mail which occurs after Christmas and New Year. Though the number of trips completed in February, 394, was 21 fewer than in January, the number of passengers was down by only 14, 4740 being carried last month.
