George Macdonald on this occasion, in which he devoted attention to such matters as communal and co-operative farming in Pales-' tine, communal housing and co-operative flat dwelling in the same sphere, and the habits and customs of dwellers in the East. He gave his hearers also a vivid description of Italy, its inhabitants, its farming and commercial pursuits, and concluded with interesting information relative to the food conditions in Great Britain.
