DUNEDIN FRENCH CLUB
The first social evoning of the-French Club’s year was held on Monday night, the meeting on this occasion being held in the Pioneer Women’s Club. Unfortunately another function at the University prevented the usual student representation from being present, but there was a fair attendance of other members. The evening began with the singing of “La Marseillaise." and after formally welcoming new members to the club, the president, Madame Belluguc. supervised a programme of competition games and of general entertainment, which included a recitation by Miss Margaret Lesley and an amusing one-act comedy read by Monsieur and Madame Bellugue.
