DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE On (he Dunedin yesterday Bank of Australasia shares were wanted at £9 10s, and there were buyers and sellers of Bank of New South Wales scrip at £35 17s 6d and £36 10s respectively. Buyers offered 20s for Commercials and £lO 17s 6d for the preference issue, while National Bank of New Zealands were quoted at 56s 3d (buyer) and 57s (seller). National Insurances were sought at 27s 3d, with sellers Is away, and New Zealands were quoted at £5 and £5 5s 6d, buyer and seller respectively. There was a seller of Standards at 87s 6d. Buyers quoted 25s 3d and sellers 28s for Howard Smiths Canterbury Meats were quoted at £ls and £ib (buyer and seller), and Gear Meats had buyers at 295, New Zealand Refrigei ating at 33s and the contributing shares at 16s. There was an inquiry for Dalgety s at £9 ss. Buyers quoted 77s for National Mortgages and 42s for the “B ” issue. New Zealand Breweries were wanted at 49s 6d and Dominions at 61s. and sellers asked 69s for Tooths. Other buying and selling quotations were as follows: Broken Hill Proprietary 46s and 475, Claude Neon (N.Z.) 43s and 475, Consolidated Brick 10s and 10s 9d, Dominion Rubber 16s and 21s, Dunlop Rubber 28s 6d and 30s 6d, Fletcher Holdings (ord.) 35s 3d and 365, Hume Pipe 21s 9d and 22s 6d, Milburn Lime and Cement 34s and 365. Reid Rubber (cont., 10s paid) 20s 9d and 225, Wilsons (N.Z.) Cement 18s. 9d and 19s 3d, Electrolytic Zinc (ord.) 63s and 655. There were buyers for New Zealand Drugs at £5 Bs.
