NO AGREEMENT REACHED No settlement of the dispute which has resulted in bread not being baked at the week-ends was reached in conciliation proceedings at Wellington on Friday between representatives of the master bakers and their- employees.' The matter will now have to go before the Arbitration Court. Advice has also been received (says the New’Zealand Herald) that in spite of requests from the bakers the employees have refused |b bake on Easter Saturday. This means-that at the Easter week-end: thdre‘ will no fresh bread from Thursday until following Tuesday.
