RUMANIAN POLITICS

INCREASED TENSION PEASANT LEADER’S CHARGE LONDON, Mar. 6. Big official celebrations throughout Rumania to-day marked the anniversary of the formation of the Groza Government, says Reuter’s Bucharest correspondent. Political tension has greatly increased since the Opposition parties resumed limited activity 'in accordance with the Moscow Foreign Minister’s decision, and Communist enthusiasts have started counter-action. The National Peasant Party representative in the Government, M. Emil Hatieganu, sent a memorandum to Dr Groza accusing the Government of creating a state of tension by its policy of aggression and abuses. M. Hatieganu cited seven incidents in which he said violence had been used against members of his party.
