W A.A.F.’S GO ABROAD
TYPING AND SHORTHAND DUTIES (FA) WELLINGTON, Mar. /. A number of members of the WAA F. will leave New Zealand shortly by air for England for shorthand and typing duties with the R.N.Z.A.F. Historical Records oranch at the Air Ministry, London. They are as follows:—Section Officer M K. Loughnan (Scargill, North Canterbury), Senior Sergeant I. Petersen (Swanson, Auckland), Sergeant J. J. H. Hay (Rotorua), Sergeant A. J. Matthews (Christchurch), Sergeant T. P. Oates (Auckland). _, A further member of the W.A.A.F., Acting Senior Sergeant Margaret A. Anderson, of Feilding, left New Zealand last Monday by a Tasman Empire Airway's plane en route to Japan. She has been seconded to the army for shorthand and typing duties with Mr Justice Northcroft, who is a member of the War Crimes Tribunal
