CLOTHES FOR BRITAIN

At a meeting of conveners of Lady Galway Patriotic Guilds held in the Garrison Hall, Mrs A. H. Allen, convener, intimated that the headquarters of the guild in Wellington, with the approval of the National Patrioic Fund Board, had decided, in view of the great need still existing in Britain, to request guilds to carry on activities till the end of the year. It was decided to make an appeal for clean second-hand clothing for reconditioning by the guilds. Any who are willing to assist in this connection are requested to communicate with the convener of the local branch of the guild or with Mrs A. H. Allen (telephone 10-294).
