NEW ORLEANS CHAMPIONSHIP (Rec. 9 p.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 17.’ . Byron Nelson won the New Orleans Open Golf Championship with a total of 227, followed by Hogan (282) and Snead (286). Nelson scored 33 in each half of the final rflund, sinking 35, 25 and 45-foot putts.
