TRAMWAYS TOURNAMENT DUNEDIN TEAM SUCCESSFUL By defeating Auckland in the third game of the Dominion tramways cricket tournament, the Dunedin team won the Laughlan Cup for the premier team in the series. The cup points were: Dunedin 11, Wellington 9, Auckland 5. and Christchurch 5. Christchurch was the previous holder. In the final matches, played on Wednesday, Dunedin beat Auckland by 116 runs to 104, and Christchurch and Wellington played a drawn game. Christchurch declared with seven wickets down for 270. and Wellington scored 71 for the loss of three wickets. > METROPOLITAN ELEVEN; CHOSEN The following x players have been selected to play for'a Metropolitan Eleven against Maniototo at Carisbrook on February 19 and 20 by the sole selector (Mr S.
