MR NASH FOR LONDON

EARLY VISIT EXPECTED TRADE DISCUSSIONS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan.' 8. It is understood that another visit to the United Kingdom is to be made by the Minister of Finance, Mr W. Nash, in a few weeks' time. Although no' official word of the suggestion has been spoken in New Zealand so far, the fact has been published in the English newspapers. The News Chronicle, London, published the news on December 29, just prior to the arrival of the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser.

It is believed that the purpose of Mr Nash’s visit is to take part in the discussions preliminary to the international conference which will examine trade questions in the light of the decisions made at the United Nations' Organisation conference.
