The boos stopped during the playing of the National Anthem, but were renewed Malta General Workers’ Union is threatening a strike for better wages and also to call attention to complaints abotit the Colonial Office’s administration. Malta’s National Assembly is pressing for a transfer of Maltese affairs to the Dominions Office and an early implementation of Britain’s promise to send a commission to advise on a constitution for self-government.
