AUSTRALIAN BOXING
WIN FOR PATRICK (Rec. 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 23. The Australian light and _ welterweight champion, Vic Patrick (9st 911 b), defeated the Englishman, Jimmy Brunt (lOst 4*lb), by a technical knock-out in the sixth round of their fight at Sydney Stadium last night. Patrick meets the Queensland champion, Tommy Burns, for the Australian welter-weight title on January 19.
