Otago Club.—The Four-ball Bogey Handicap played at Balmacewen on Saturday was won by A. McLean and J. R. Hyslop with the outstanding score of 8 up. Other scores were as follows; I. H. Penrose and J. Randle 5 up, A. H. Boyd and H. W. Horder 4 up, E. A. Reed and D. S. Deacon 3 up. G. W. Groves and A. G. Edey 3 up. G. B. P. Wilson and J. H. Fulton 3 up, A R. Woods and J. P. Cartwright 2 up, J. A. Scoular and T. C. Tyrrell 1 up, J. N. Lemon and L. B. Whinam 1 up, W. G. Wight and G. W. Bowron 1 up, H. E. Grover and J. B. Quaile all square. F. W. Dixon and L. C. Brown all square. Chisholm Park Club.—A Single Australian Stableford Handicap, played on Saturday, resulted in a win for H. Merrett with the excellent score of 40 points. Playing on a handicap of 17 he returned a card with a net score of 61, this being one of the best cards returned on the course for some time. Other good cards returned were those of C. Davis 31 points, A. Duckworth 31 points, J. K. Wood 30 points, G. White 29 points. Bclleknowes Club.—The 1945 season of the Belleknowes Club Was brought to a close on Saturday afternoon, when a Mixed Canadian Bogey Foursome was played, the winners being Miss B. Kinaston and F. G. Haigh with a score of 4 up. Next in order were —Miss M. Rhodes and R. W. Crombie 2 up, Miss Holmes and D. Mackay 2 up, Mrs G. Dunn and N. R. Driver all square, Miss V. Rhodes and J. Howley all square, Miss Strong and G. Bell 2 down, Mrs H. Cramond and A I. Murray 3 down, Miss L. Carroll and R. F. McClatchv 3 down, Miss E. B. Clarke and L. Griffiths 3 down. During the afternoon a presentation of a fireside chair from the club was made by the president, Mr A. McMillan, to Mr Allan Fox, on the eve of his retirement as professional to the club St. Clair Club.—The annual match between teams representing the captain and deputy captain was played at Corstorphine on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the deputy captain’s team by 13 games to 9, while 4 games finished all square. The results are as follows (names of captain's team first); H. S. Ross lost to W. W. Clayton 2 down, F. G. Coxhead lost, to D. C. Bennie 4 and 2, C. Langbein beat T. J. Butler 3 and 2, S. C. Gourlev lost to G. C. McKay 2 and 1, E. J. Doogue lost to S. A. Pringle 3 and 2, R C. Brown and L. E. Routledge all square, T. W. Grimsdale beat R. G. Hill 3 and 2, G. R. Stone lost to J. W. Delbridge 1 down, F. Sherriff and A. G. Bayliss all square, R. J. L. Griffiths lost to J. T. Williamson 4 and 3, A. C. Gibson beat P. Mclndoe 5 and 4, H. G. Paul beat C. H. Duncan 4 and 3, J. Cardno beat G. M Burn 3 up, A. J. Shaw lost to A. E. Timms 4 and 3, H. G. Fountain beat W. H. Batchelor 4 and 3, R. B. Dick beat R. J. Hardy 5 and 4, F. C. Young lost to N. H. Shepherd 2 and 1, W.
