RADIO AMATEURS

The last monthly meeting for 1945 of the New Zealand DX Club. Otago branch, was held recently, Mr J. Fox presiding over a good attendance. Several suggestions were made during the everting, notably for the adoption of a new signaj strength, and fresh competitions were prepared. A lively discussion took piace on what should be the definition of a short-wave verification. Competition results were: American broadcast. KTUL, M. S. Lamont; short-wave, FKBAA, I. A. Brinsdon.
