ORPHANS’ CLUB

LIFE MEMBER HONOURED The final concert of the Dunedin Orphans’ Club for the 1945 season was held last night, when members took occasion to honour a life member of the club, Bro. R. Bryant, who is also chief programme organiser. The president, Bro. N. R. Mclsaac, presided over tire largest attendance of the year. Along with other speakers, the chairman paid a glowing tribute to the valuable services of the guest, and on their behalf he presented Bro. Bryant with two easy chairs. There was also a special presentation from the stewards. The hall was attractively decorated to mark the occasion, and a bright musical programme was presented by members and visitors from other organisations who had assisted during the year.
