The South Dunedin branch of the W.C.T.U. met on September 27. Mrs Rippin presided and Mrs Smith conducted devotions. A short bring-and-buy sale realised £3 2s 9c). Remits for the district conference and nominations for Dominion officers were called for. It was suggested that all officers should resign alter a six vears’ term. The problems besetting the New Zealand Alliance and all interested in the no-licence movement w r ere discussed.
