MERCY SHIP
FOOD, CLOTHING, AND MONEY (Rec. 7 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 30.
The Netherlands East Indies Government Information Servicfe in Melbourne reports that the Netherlands merchant navy ship Karsik left Melbourne for the Netherlands East Indies at daybreak this morning with a complete Dutch and lascar crew, Karsik was fully loaded with foodstuffs, clothing, and other mercy goods, as well as coinage for distribution in Netherlands East Indies.
