SOUTH OTAGO TOURNAMENT
The annual seven-a-side tournament conducted by the South Otago Women’s Hockey Association was played at Milton under ideal conditions. Momona won the A Grade final, defeating Bruce by 2 goals to nil In a closely-contested game and Training College beat Milton in the B Grade. The following were the results:— A Grade.—Section 1: Bruce 10, University I 9, Training College 8, Dunedin 6, Taieri 4, Clutha 2, and Momona II 1; winner Bruce. Section II: Momona I 10, Milton ’7, Owaka 6, Otago 5, Lawrence 4, University II 2, University 111 2; winner, Momona I. Final: Momona 2, Bruce m B Grade.—Section I: Winner, Milton. Section II: Winner, O.G.H.S. Section 111. Winner, Training College. Semi-final; Training College 1 beat O.G.H.S. nil. Final: Training College 1 beat Milton nil.
