SWISS ADMIT CHARGES

ILL-TREATMENT OF RUSSIANS (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) BERNE, Sept. 29. The Government has issued a protocol admitting the Russian charges that Swiss authorities ill-treated Russian internees. The Russian and Swiss representatives drew up the protocol :after two months’ investigation. The document admitted that the Swiss forced back across the frontier Russians who escaped from Germany, and also that Russians in several internment camps were badly treated.
