SOUTH AFRICAN DROUGHT
WORST FOR 80 YEARS UNION FORCES FOOD CRISIS (Rec. 7 p.m.) CAPETOWN, Sept. 29. The drought, stated to be the worst for 80 years, continues unbroken, says the Associated Press Johannesburg correspondent. South African grain stocks are reported to be sufficient only for two months. Cattle are dying in the southern section of the dominion and in Northern Transvaal.
