OCCUPATION OF TURKEY
SENSATIONAL GERMAN PLOT (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) ISTANBUL, Sept. 29. Newspapers publish details of a sensational German plot in which von Papen was implicated whereby the Germans planned to occupy Turkey. The plan was abandoned following the German reverse at Stalingrad. The newspapers demand the arrest of persons in Turkey connected with the plot.
