SURRENDER TERMS
VIOLATED BY ENEMY
CHUNGKING ACCUSATION (Rec. 9.5 p.m.) CHUNGKING, Sept. 18.
The Chinese Central News Agency says the Japanese violated the surrender terms in a number of instances since September 2, including the destruction of arms, ammunition, railway bridges, and equipment. General Ho Ying Chin announced that all Japanese soldiers and civilians in China would be deported to Japan as transport became available. In the meantime, they would be segregated. Vice-admiral Terashima. Minister of Communications and Railways in General Tojo’s Cabinet, has surrendered.
