OBITUARY
COLONEL D. N. W. MURRAY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 4. The death occurred this morning of Colonel D. N. W. Murray, C.M.G.. D. 5.0., M.D., who was assistant director of medical services, Northern Military District. In the present war, Colonel Murray served for some time as senior medical officer in the hospital ship Maunganui. In June, 1942, he was posted to Northern Military District Headquarters. He served in the Boer War, and in the Great War from 1914 to 1919. Dr Murray was 69 years of a-se. PROFESSOR JAMES WILSON LONDON, Sept. 3. The death is announced of Professor James Thomas Wilson, emeritus professor of anatomy at Cambridge University; aged 84. He was demonstrator in anatomy in the University of Edinburgh, 1885-87, and in Sydney University, 18871890. He was Challis professor of anatomy in Sydney University 1890-1920, and professor of anatomy at Cambridge University 1920-34. He represented the Australian Universities on the Executive Council of the Universities Bureau of the British Empire, 1921-38.
