FORMER PRISONERS

NEW ZEALANDERS IN ENGLAND TOTAL OF SIX HUNDRED (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) LONDON. Sept. 3. The number of former N.Z.E.F. prisoners of war now remaining in England totals about 600. This includes 96 hospital cases, many of these being cases of normal sickness. There are also men on educational attachments. The majority will leave for New Zealand some time this month. Those remaining will be completing their educational courses. The name of the ship and the date of sailing are not yet known. Six hundred former prisoners of war sailed for home last week by the Dominion Monarch.
