EX-DUNEDIN NAVALS

ANNUAL REUNION The Ex-Dunedin Naval Artillery Association held its annual reunion on Saturday last. The president, Mr H. Porter, occupied the chair, and associated with him were Messrs W. J. Strong (patron), R. A. Maekie, W. A. St. Clair, A. W. Palmer, R. Smith, W. B. Fowler, and W. T. Milward, all past presidents. The guests of the evening were Lieutenant Williamson, Lieutenant Roydhouse, R.N.V.R., and Mr G. Hill, Ex-Dunedin Highland Rifles Association. The reveille and the ‘‘Last Post " were sounded by Mr W. B. Fowler, and the roll was called by Mr Mackle, 50 members answering to their names. During the evening a lengthy toast list was honoured, and reference was made to the recent deaths of members of the old company. Items were given by Messrs J. Scott. J. Morrison, J. King, J. Drumm, J. Barnes. W. A, St. Clair, and W. B. Fowler. Mr W. Hardy conducted a community sing. Mr P. Beaumont was the accompanist.
