No men had been available for farms under the rehabilitation scheme by which returned servicemen were placed on farms at subsidised rates to gain experience, although there had been several openings. The position regarding harvest labour last year had been bad as the men in camp at Waiwera had been put on flood protection work. He never married and besides his sister he is survived by a brother, Mr Henry Murray, of Hamilton. The annual balance sheet showed that the credit balance had increased from £3 5s lid to £l3 14s sd. After a lengthy report had been presented ■by Mrs A.
